Katie's Scholarship Road Race 5K
Katie's Scholarship Road Race 5K is an annual Memorial Day running event held at Boylston Common in Boylston, Massachusetts. The event on 05/25/2026 offers two in-person 5K races, separated by age category.

- 5K for ages 11 and under (in-person)
Registration opens on 03/01/2026 and closes on 04/13/2026. Entry fees differ by category, with one registration fee listed at $27.00 and the other at $17.00. Shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register by May 8.
The race includes team competition elements. Team prizes are awarded to the top two fastest teams based on the combined time of the first five finishers on each team, and an award is given to the team with the largest number of participants.
The event was renamed in 2008 in memory of a local resident and supports scholarships for female students from Tahanto Regional High School who plan to pursue two or four year college degrees. The race also provides donations to Veterans Inc. in Worcester. Since 2018 the Boylston Lions Club has taken stewardship of the event and supports the listed scholarships and donations.
