Kathy's Run for Cancer - Richland, MI
Kathy's Run for Cancer is a two-day community running event held July 3 and July 4, 2026, at Richland Gull Lake High School (7753 N 34th St, Richland, MI 49083). The course starts and finishes at the high school and winds through neighboring streets and the Richland countryside. Aid stations are placed on the course. Due to route limitations the 10K will use the 5K loop twice; the start and finish use separate chutes.

- 10K Run (two laps of 5K course)
Registration opens in February 2026. Early online registration through May 31 is listed at $35 for most distances and $15 for the 1K; a mid period in June and early July has a higher fee and late registration on July 3 and July 4 is higher still. A family discount of $3 per person applies for groups of three to five. Online registrants are guaranteed a technical tee shirt if registered by midnight on June 23; sizes cannot be exchanged at packet pickup.
Packet pickup and registration occur at the high school, with an evening pickup on July 3 and race day pickup beginning July 4. Computerized timing with disposable chips will be used and live results will be posted during the event. Age divisions are provided from 9 and under through 80 and over.
For safety, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, and roller skates are not allowed on the course; baby strollers are allowed and dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
