The Karwendelmarsch is an annual running and hiking event that takes place on the last Saturday in August. Participants can choose between a 35 km and a 52 km route that leads through the impressive landscape of the Karwendel Mountains. Organized by Achensee Tourism and the Seefeld region, the Karwendelmarsch attracts up to 2,500 participants.
The event offers comprehensive refreshments at several stations along the route and ends in Pertisau at Lake Achensee.
