Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale Run for Relief 5k
The Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale Run for Relief is a fundraising run and walk held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas on April 11, 2026. The event supports Mennonite Central Committee, an organization that provides relief and development worldwide in the name of Christ. The listed distance is 5k and the event offers automatic race timing, age group awards, and post race food.
Three participation options are available: a paid entry, a fundraiser entry, and a remote participant option. Fundraiser entries carry a minimum fundraising goal of $30 to cover the entry fee. Participants who raise $500 in the Go The Extra Mile Fundraising Challenge receive an additional long sleeve T-shirt. Remote participants may complete the 5k from another location and are asked to share photos on the event Facebook page; remote entries do not receive a T-shirt or goodie bag.
Registration details note that online registration includes a processing fee and that prices increase after March 27 for certain entries. Late registration and packet pick up are available in person at the Meadowlark building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds the evening before the event and at a shelter house on race day. All proceeds from the race and the greater Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale benefit MCC programs in North America and globally. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
