CCS - Family Fun Run & Walk
The CCS Family Fun Run & Walk takes place at the Central Christian School campus in Hutchinson. Participants travel along a 0.60-mile loop throughout the school grounds. The event offers both competitive and recreational divisions for various age groups and interests.
The competitive categories are organized based on age and grade level. Runners in these groups aim to complete the maximum number of laps possible within a one-hour timeframe. The top male and female performers in each competitive category receive an award. The recreational category allows participants of all ages to complete as many or as few laps as they prefer while moving against the clock.

- Competitive 18+
- Competitive Grades 6-12
- Competitive Grades K-5
- Recreational All Ages
The course covers various terrains, and strollers are permitted on the path. Participant bibs are assigned during the registration period on the morning of the event. While registration is free, participants may choose to provide a donation to support the organizing school. Following the run and walk, a breakfast featuring pancakes is held in the campus fitness center. Please note that the organizer does not provide water or snacks during the race itself, so participants are responsible for their own hydration and nutrition.
