Garmin Kansas City Marathon
The Garmin Kansas City Marathon is an annual running event held in Kansas City, Missouri. The race course travels through various neighborhoods and passes several local landmarks, including the World War I Museum & Memorial, the Country Club Plaza, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Participants also pass through the areas of Waldo, Westport, and 18th & Vine.
The event offers several distances for participants to choose from:
- Marathon: A 26.2-mile course for participants aged 16 and up.
- Half Marathon: A 13.1-mile course for participants aged 14 and up.
- 10K: A 6.2-mile running race.
- 5K: A 3.1-mile running race.
