Kakabeka Falls Half Marathon and 8K
The 2026 event in Kakabeka Falls, Ontario, offers a half marathon and an 8K. This is the 9th annual Kakabeka Falls Half Marathon and participants may choose between two distances.

The course uses a closed section of the TransCanada Highway, crosses two bridges with views, includes the Poplar Point Trail in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park, and follows the rolling hills of Luckens Road. All races start at the Legion. The event is held in support of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 225.
New for 2026 is the Fire & Falls Legacy Challenge, which combines the Fire Fighters Ten Mile Road Race and the Kakabeka Falls Legion Half Marathon for a total of 23.1 Miles. The challenge requires separate registration, carries a $15 fee, has limited places, and closes on May 1, 2026. A commemorative challenge coin will be awarded only to those who register in advance and record an official finishing time in both races.
