Event
The Kakabeka Falls Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026. The 2026 edition is the 9th annual running of the event. Races start at the Legion in Kakabeka Falls, Ontario. Registration opens February 2026. The event is held in support of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 225.
Distances and course
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 8K
- Half Marathon
The course uses a closed section of the Trans-Canada Highway and includes running across two bridges. Part of the route follows the Poplar Point Trail in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park and includes rolling hills on Luckens Road. The event offers an option to run both the 8K and the Half Marathon.
