Juneteenth 5K at Brooklyn Bridge Park
The Juneteenth 5K is an in-person running event on June 20, 2026, held at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The course starts at Pier 6, runs north along the waterfront to Pier 1, and returns to Pier 6, following the East River shoreline with views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The event emphasizes commemoration of Juneteenth and community themes including unity and health equity. Registration opens on June 22, 2025 and closes on April 10, 2026; the registration fee is $49.50. Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
Participants will receive a premium short-sleeved race T-shirt and a finisher medal. Bib pick-up and bag check are provided at Race Check In at Pier 6 on race day; participants must collect their race materials before the race begins. Clear plastic bags will be available for checked items, and participants may bring their own clear reusable bag to reduce waste. Organizers and affiliated staff are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items left in bag check.
Wheeled devices are restricted to authorized law enforcement, credentialed staff or volunteers related to race operations, and participants who registered wheelchair accessibility requests.
