Event overview
The Junction Jamboree Jog takes place on September 26, 2026 in Union Point, GA at 206 Veazey Street. It is a member race in the 2026 Firefly Trail Race Series. Proceeds will support improvement projects in Union Point, including the Southern Terminus of the Firefly Trail. Registration for in-person events ends September 23, 2026. T-shirt requests must be made by September 11, 2026; a No Shirt option reduces the registration price by $5. Standard race fee listed is $25 plus a $3.15 sign-up fee. An age-based discount lists a $15 race fee plus $2.57 sign-up fee for ages 6-18 during the discount period.

Course, awards, and virtual option
All races start in front of the old school building on Veazey Street and proceed to the Firefly Trail. The 10K and 10-Miler are out and back courses on the Firefly Trail to a turnaround cone and return to the school on the same path. The 5K runs on the Firefly Trail to Highway 44 and returns to Veazey Street through local streets and neighborhoods. Awards are given for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and 10-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and Over. Virtual entrants may register for one distance, must submit a finish time via the race results page no later than 12 noon on September 26, and are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts.
