Junction Jamboree Jog 5K / 10K / 10-Miler
The Junction Jamboree Jog is an athletic event held in Union Point, Georgia. Multiple race distances are available for participants:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run (6.2 miles)
- 10-Miler Run (10 miles)
The 10K and 10-Miler events take place on the Firefly Trail using out and back courses. These competitions serve as the final races in the 2026 Firefly Trail Race Series. The event starts and finishes at 206 Veazey Street.
Participants who cannot attend in person may choose virtual options for all three distances. Virtual participants complete their chosen distance at a location of their choice and submit their finish times electronically. Those participating virtually are not eligible for race day awards or event t-shirts.
Financial proceeds from the event are allocated to local improvement projects within Union Point. These projects specifically include developments for the Southern Terminus of the Firefly Trail. Registration for the various distances is open until late September, with different fee structures based on the selected distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
