Judy V Spencer 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk
The Judy V Spencer 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk is a 5K run and a 5K walk held on June 7 at the Bay City Community Center, 800 John F. Kennedy Dr, Bay City, MI 48706. The event is hosted by the Bay Area Women's Center.
The event is dog friendly and allows participants to bring dogs on the course. All dogs must be leashed. A race t-shirt is available for purchase and participants receive additional items on race day. Although presented as a fun run and walk, the event is timed and prizes are awarded to top finishers in the male and female categories. Packet pickup is available on race day.
The event raises funds and awareness to support survivors of violence. Proceeds support the Judy V Spencer Fund held at the Bay Area Women's Center to cover boarding costs for survivors who seek shelter with their pets.
