Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon and 10k : Sunday 6 June 2027
The event offers two road races on a closed-road route that start in Runcorn, cross the Silver Jubilee Bridge towards Halebank, then return to finish on the bridge. The bridge spans the River Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal and is a Grade II listed structure.
Included with entry are a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post race goodies and a bag drop. The half marathon route records an elevation gain of 105 m and there is an overall course cut-off of three hours. Minimum ages are 17 and above for the half marathon and 15 and above for the 10k.
Practical arrangements are managed from an event village at the bridge location. The village opens at 07:30 on race day and provides a race pack collection point, food and drink options, portable toilets and a secure marquee for baggage. Water is supplied approximately every 5 km and at the finish. There is no specific event parking for this event. The Jubilee Bridge will be closed from 06:00 on the day and access to Runcorn from the Widnes side will be via the Mersey Gateway Bridge.
