Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon & 10k
The Jubilee Bridge event takes place on a flat road course in Runcorn. Both available distances follow closed roads, with the start and finish lines located on the Silver Jubilee Bridge. This Grade II listed structure spans the River Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal, connecting the towns of Widnes and Runcorn.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon: A road race with 123m of elevation.
- 10k: A road race with 83m of elevation.
The course features accurate distance flags at every kilometre and is staffed by marshals to provide guidance along the route. The event infrastructure includes a central village area with various food and drink options.
Each entry includes chip-timed results, free race photography, and a themed medal provided upon completion. Runners also receive post-race items from event partners at the finish line. The organizers focus on sustainability and offer participants the option to purchase an event t-shirt separately during the registration process rather than including it by default for all entrants.
