Jr's Paws For a Cause 5K
Jr's Paws For a Cause is a dog-friendly 5k run/walk held on April 26, 2026, at 53 West St, Natick, MA. The event welcomes participants of all ages and their canine companions and is presented as a family-friendly community gathering. The event is hosted rain or shine.
The program includes a live DJ, vendors, photos, raffles, prizes, doggy ice cream, and complimentary Vitamin 1 drinks. Registration includes one race entry, a matching bib number for a dog, and Polkadog treat samples. The first 30 registrants receive a $100 Nutre Meal Plan gift card, Polkadog treats, a VEG bag, and a canvas Public Lands bag; recipients must attend in person to collect those items. Early bib pick up is offered the day before at Marathon Sports in Wellesley.
Adoptable dogs and rescues will be on site, including Shultz Guest House, Last Hope K9, The Animal Rescue League, and A Place for Ace. Proceeds and fundraising efforts will be donated to Project Samana, a veterinary outreach program in the Dominican Republic, and to local rescues Last Hope K9, Shultz Guest House, and Kyle’s Legacy Inc. A portion designated for Kyle’s Legacy will be given in Junior’s name to support canine cancer research; Junior was a six-year-old Labrador Retriever who lost his battle with lymphoma.
