JOYRUN
JOYRUN takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Heritage Park (Shelter 1), 16050 Pflumm Road, Olathe, KS 66062. The event supports JoyKC, a nonprofit that provides free, faith-based programming for teens (ages 15+) and adults with disabilities in the Kansas City area.

- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- Kids 1 Mile Run or Walk (12 years and under)
Registration opens for the main events on February 24, 2026; the kids event opens January 19, 2026. Published fees vary by date: 5K fees are $30 through March 31, $40 through September 1, and $45 through race day; 1 mile run and walk fees are $25 through March 31, $35 through September 1, and $40 through race day; kids fees are $12 through March 31, $15 through September 1, and $20 through race day. Kids under age 5 may participate at no cost. Registration includes a t-shirt, with guaranteed sizes available for participants who register by September 1.
Packet pick-up is available before race day at Community Covenant Church and on race day at Heritage Park Shelter 1. Participants can create individual or team fundraising pages during registration. An After Bash celebration follows the races and a raffle is planned with details forthcoming. Dogs are welcome if leashed.
