About the race
Jose's Jog is a timed trail run held in late March around Scovill Reservoir in Wolcott, Connecticut. The course starts and finishes at the Woodtick Recreation Area and follows a mostly crushed stone or gravel path that forms a loop around the reservoir.
The route is about 3.5 miles long, with generally easy footing and largely flat terrain, with a few gentle hills. The course is a public site, so other trail users may be present. The route will be marked and an aid station with water is planned at approximately 2 miles. Snacks will be available at the finish.
Entry to the event is free and field size is limited to 50 runners because of town permits. Results are posted online the following Monday morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
