Josephinum 5K Run / Walk
The Josephinum 5K Run / Walk is presented by the Friends of the Josephinum at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio. The event uses a one loop course that passes through the college campus and the surrounding neighborhood. A virtual participation option is offered for supporters who cannot attend in person.

Participants receive an event shirt, an official finisher's medal, free race photos, a bottle of wine for those 21 and over or Trappist Monastery jam for those under 21, and post-event food including breakfast burritos and White Castle sliders. Parking for the event is provided at Crosswoods Center I & II, 100–150 E. Crosswoods Boulevard. Packet pickup is held at Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center on October 1 and October 2 during regular store hours; race day packet pickup is available at the Pontifical College Josephinum.
Entry fees for 2026 follow tiered pricing: $45 through August 18, $50 from August 19 through September 16, and $55 from September 17 through the event or until sold out. A family rate reduces the total by $15 when three or more registrations are submitted together. The organizer has a no refund policy; bib transfers are permitted for a $15 fee. Strollers are allowed. Pets are not allowed; service animals trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome.
The Friends of the Josephinum have provided financial support to seminarians since 1984. Since 2001 they have contributed more than $1 million through fundraising efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
