Josephinum 5K Run and Walk
The Josephinum 5K Run and Walk is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio. The event uses a one-loop course that tours the college campus and the surrounding neighborhood and offers a virtual 5K option for remote participants.
Proceeds support scholarships and the financial needs of seminarians at the Pontifical College Josephinum. The Friends of the Josephinum have provided financial support for seminarians since 1984, and since 2001 have contributed more than $1 million through fund-raising efforts.
Participants receive a unisex event shirt, an official finisher's medal, free race photos, and a choice of a bottle of wine for those 21 and over or Trappist Monastery jam for those under 21. Food items listed for the event include fresh breakfast burritos and White Castle sliders.
Entry fees vary by date: $45 through August 18, $50 from August 19 through September 16, and $55 from September 17 through race day. The virtual 5K fee is $55 and includes shipping. A family rate offers $5 off each registration when three registrations are entered with promo code 2026SAVE15. Packet pickup is at Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center, 1270 E. Powell Road, Lewis Center, Ohio, on October 1 and October 2 during business hours, with race day packet pickup beginning at 7 a.m. Event parking is at Crosswoods Center I and II, 100-150 E. Crosswoods Blvd.
Event policies include a no refund policy, bib transfers allowed for $15 each, strollers allowed, no pets allowed, and service animals trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
