Josephinum 5K Run / Walk
The Josephinum 5K Run / Walk takes place on October 3, 2026, at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio. The Friends of the Josephinum present the event as a one-loop course that tours the college campus and the surrounding neighborhood. A virtual option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.
Proceeds support scholarships and the financial needs of seminarians, including tuition, textbooks, clothing, medical and dental care, eye care, and emergency travel. The Friends of the Josephinum have provided financial support to seminarians since 1984 and have contributed more than $1 million through fund-raising efforts since 2001.
Registered participants receive an event shirt and an official finisher's medal. Other event items include free race photos, a bottle of wine for those 21 and over or Trappist monastery jam for those under 21, fresh breakfast burritos, and White Castle sliders. Event parking is at Crosswoods Center I and II, 100–150 E. Crosswoods Boulevard.
Packet pickup is hosted by Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 during regular business hours, with race day packet pickup available at the Pontifical College Josephinum. Entry fees vary by date; a virtual 5K option includes shipping. M3S Sports enforces a no refund policy. Bib transfers are allowed for a $15 fee.
