Jonquil City Jog 5K : Smyrna, GA
The Jonquil City Jog is an annual running event in Smyrna that supports the Campbell High School Educational Foundation and Support Smyrna. The in-person course is USATF certified, starts and finishes at Smyrna City Hall (2800 King Street SE), and follows an out-and-back route on Atlanta Road. The organizer describes the route as flat.
Event options include multiple distances and a virtual entry:
- 5K timed and untimed in-person options
- 5K virtual option
- 1K fun run
- 100 yards Tot Trot
Awards are offered to overall and masters men’s and women’s finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups from 8 and under up through 70 and over. Only participants in the timed 5K are eligible for overall and age group awards. First-place finishers receive Kenny’s Key Lime Pies. Finisher ribbons are given to all 1K and Tot Trot finishers.
Registered in-person participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt unless they select a no-shirt option; there is a $2 surcharge for XXL sizes and no guarantee of the exact requested size on race day. Registration opens 1/20/2026; most in-person events close 5/1/2026 while some no-shirt and virtual options remain open on race day. Bib pick-up occurs on race morning in front of Smyrna City Hall. Parking is available in downtown Smyrna lots; expect traffic impacts on Atlanta Road near the course.
