Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon & 10K 2027
The Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon & 10K is organised by Always Aim High Events and is based at the Anglesey Showground in Gwalchmai, Holyhead LL65 4RW, UK. The event offers fully closed-road courses for its race distances, allowing traffic-free running through the island's rural countryside with views of Eryri (Snowdonia).
Both routes use quiet country lanes and open farmland with long stretches of countryside, traditional hedgerows and panoramic mountain views. The half marathon route includes gentle undulations and returns past an open section with views towards Llyn Cefni before finishing at the Showground. The 10K follows the opening section of the half marathon and then completes a shorter loop through the same landscape.
On-site facilities include parking, a race village with music, commentary and food vendors, secure bag drop and drink stations supplying water and High5 products. The event is chip timed with live results and SMS text result, and the courses are fully signed and marshalled. Finished participants receive a locally sourced slate coaster, a bag of Jones o Gymru crisps and an event memento.
