Anglesey Half Marathon and 10k
The Anglesey event is a coastal road running day held in Mona, Ynys Môn, with races on 23 May 2027. Organisers use fully closed-road courses for both the half marathon and the 10 km, providing a traffic free route along an undulating course with views across Anglesey and the Eryri mountains.
The event village is based at the Mona Showground in Menai Bridge and includes music, commentary, shopping, food, a secure bag drop and toilets. On course support includes marshals, signage, energy stations and support vehicles. Chip timing and live online results are provided for competitors.
The programme includes multiple distances:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10k - 10 kilometres
- Dragons Dash - 1.3 mile children’s race, open to children from age 5
The event attracts a mix of first time entrants, fundraisers and experienced runners. Family finishes and activities are part of the on site atmosphere. Finishers receive locally themed mementos and organisers provide bilingual services with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh.
