Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon & 10K - Gwalchmai, 23 May 2027
The Jones o Gymru Anglesey event offers road races starting and finishing at the Anglesey Showground in Gwalchmai, Holyhead LL65 4RW, UK. The courses are fully closed to traffic and run through quiet country lanes and open farmland on Anglesey. Runners pass traditional hedgerows and long stretches of countryside with panoramic views towards Eryri and, on the Half Marathon, views across Llyn Cefni in the later stages.
The Half Marathon route uses wide roads and peaceful lanes with gentle undulations rather than steep climbs. The 10K follows the opening section of the Half Marathon then completes a shorter loop before returning to the Showground. Race-day logistics are concentrated on site with parking, a race village and the finish area all at the Showground. The route is fully signed and marshalled.
Event services include professional chip timing with live results and SMS text result updates, drink stations offering water and High5 products, a secure bag drop and access to an event village with music, commentary and food vendors.
