Jonas Cattell Memorial 10-mile Run & Fort Mercer 5K
The event on October 17, 2026 in Haddonfield, New Jersey, features two organized races with separate courses and awards. The 10-mile race follows a point-to-point route from Haddonfield to National Park that commemorates a historic ride. The 5K is an out-and-back course starting and finishing at Red Bank Battlefield.

Registration opens on March 26 and closes on October 16, 2026. Pre-registration by October 14 is required to be eligible for early packet pick-up on October 15 and 16 at the James G. Atkinson Park Office; race day packet pick-up will occur at each race start location. Entry fees are $30 for the 10-mile and $20 for the 5K; payment by check or money order is requested. Day-of registration is cashless.
The 10-mile field must maintain a pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster. Bus transportation will be provided from Red Bank Battlefield to the 10-mile starting area, and a bag drop will be available at the starting line. Water stations will offer pre-filled cups; a runners tent will provide snacks, water, sports drink and fruit. Awards for top finishers and age-group placings will be presented, with an award ceremony at Red Bank Battlefield after the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
