Event overview
The Johnstown, Alexandria & Granville Turkey Trot is a multi-distance running event held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Johnstown Trail Head, 157 E Jersey St, Johnstown, OH 43031. All races start and finish at the same line on the T.J. Evans paved trail (T.J. Evans Trail). The event program includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 mi)
- 10K (6.2 mi)
- 5K (3.1 mi)
- Kids Fun Run (100 meters)
- Virtual 5K, Virtual 10K, Virtual Half Marathon
The Kids Fun Run is scheduled to begin before the other races, with the half marathon, 10K and 5K following it.
Participant services and logistics
Registered participants can choose one item during packet pickup: a turkey hat (multiple options), a long sleeve shirt, or a hooded sweatshirt. Other included items are a custom race bib, a full-color finishers medal with neck ribbon, a personal pie or donut or cookie, chip timing with instant results, snacks and refreshments, professional race photos and a race emcee. Race bag items are provided.
Parking is available at the event location, with two additional nearby lots if needed and street parking subject to posted signs; attendees are asked not to park on grass. Strollers and dogs are permitted, and a dog water station will be available near the finish area. Course maps are provided for each distance.
