Johnny Rob RUN SUP RUN - Abersoch Triple Crown
The event takes place in Abersoch on 20 June 2026 and is held in memory of a much loved local legend who enjoyed the water. The format combines beach running with a paddleboard section along the shoreline.
All entry fees are donated to Move Against Cancer. Participants may enter as individuals or as part of a team. The event has included music and an on-beach atmosphere in past editions.
Course format includes three main segments:
- 1 km run to the first groyne and back.
- Paddleboard along a buoyed shoreline course to SCYC and back.
- 1 km final run to the groyne and back to the finish line.
Equipment is collected and returned on the beach between the run and paddle sections. The event is presented as part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series and combines short trail-like beach running with a stand up paddleboarding leg.
