John Wayne Grit Series - Moab (2026)
The John Wayne Grit Series - Moab is a trail running event set near Moab, Utah, on September 26, 2026. Courses start approximately 20 miles outside Moab on the Hollywood Western Equestrian Trails in the Onion Creek trail area, with views of Castle Tower, Priests and Nuns, and Fisher Towers.

The event is cup less; runners should bring refillable hydration packs or handheld bottles that volunteers can refill. Aid stations: the half marathon has two full aid stations and one water drop, and the 10K has one full aid station. Each participant receives a John Wayne Grit Series shirt and a finisher mug at the finish. Packet pickup details are to be determined.
There are podium prizes: three female and three male winners for each course, totaling 12 podium medals and prizes. Cancer survivors who sign up receive a complimentary yellow bandana at packet pickup while supplies last. Registration closes on September 23, 2026. Early-bird pricing applies with deadlines on May 23, July 11, and August 15, 2026. The event lists four sign-up options: individual, corporate teams, friends and family teams, and volunteer.
