John Muir Way Nocturnal Ultra Marathon
The event takes place on 07 Nov 2026 at the John Muir Way, Balgone Estate, East Lothian, Balgone Barns, North Berwick EH39 5NY. The event status is open and entries close on 04 Nov 2026 at 11:59. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign up. Entry fees for the solo race are listed as £61 for the first 50 places and £70 thereafter. Team relay fees are listed as £90 for the first 15 places and £96 thereafter. The solo field capacity is shown as 250 and the team relay capacity as 100.
The format gives participants six hours to complete as many laps as possible of a well marked trail loop of approximately 5 km. Options include solo slots and team relay entries for teams of up to three. Each lap passes a tented base where runners can store kit, access food, and receive support.
