John Gilmour Track Race
The John Gilmour Track Race is a 10 km track event held on 23 October 2026 at Coker Park, Cannington, organised by the West Australian Marathon Club. The main race covers 25 laps of a 400 m track, with accuracy and spectator visibility noted for the course.
The event is open to non-members; member and non-member fee categories are listed for the 10 km distance, with member entries free and non-member entries charged. WAMC members are asked to bring their cloth bib and timing chip to record splits. Awards and spot prizes will be offered, and points are awarded toward a club champion competition.
The evening programme includes a community 1-mile run presented by a local club as a kickoff to the main track races. A post-race barbecue will operate to raise funds for a club anniversary, with food and drink available for a small charge.
