Event overview
LewisGale's Joggin' for Your Noggin with Rock Haven takes place on April 25, 2026, at Wasena Park in Roanoke, Virginia. The event supports Brain Injury Solutions and combines a 5K run, a Memorial Loop Walk along the Roanoke River Greenway, and a partnered music festival called Rock Haven at Black Dog Salvage's Dog Bowl. Rock Haven includes live music, food trucks, and beverages. The event is held rain or shine; there is no make-up date or refunds for weather-related cancellation.
Participation options and logistics
Participants may choose from the following formats:
- 5K run (timed)
- Memorial Loop Walk
- Virtual 5K or Memorial Loop Walk
Options include combinations with admission to Rock Haven or standalone Rock Haven attendance. All proceeds go toward providing free case management services to brain injury survivors through Brain Injury Solutions. Packet pick-up is available the day before at RunAbout Sports Roanoke (3635 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, VA) and on event day at Wasena Park (1001 Winchester Ave SW, Roanoke, VA).
Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in Overall, Masters, and the listed age groups from 0-19 through 75+. Event results will be posted after the race on the event timer's website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
