The 9th Annual Joggin' 4 the Noggin 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 16, 2026 in Newport, PA at Little Buffalo State Park (1067 Swimming Pool Rd). Proceeds benefit the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS). The event is held rain or shine and offers live and virtual options.

Entry, course and logistics
Live registration fees vary by date, with an increased fee after late January 2026 and a race day fee. Virtual registration includes a mailed event T-shirt; virtual participants may request a mailed finisher medal by submitting tracked mileage by mid-May. A guaranteed T-shirt in the selected size is available for registrations completed by April 25. Kids age 5 and under are free; T-shirts are not included for free entries.
The course uses a mix of pavement, gravel and grass. Swimming Pool Road is designated for parking and registration. Strollers are permitted (umbrella strollers not recommended). Pets are allowed if leashed and cleaned up after. Raffles and refreshments will be available on site.
Awards and fundraising
Medals for the live 5K will be awarded to overall top male and female finishers and to the top three male and female runners in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Awarded participants must be present for the awards ceremony. Participants can set up individual fundraising pages to collect donations for the cause.
