Joggin' 4 the Noggin 5K Run/Walk
This event takes place on May 16, 2026 at Little Buffalo State Park in Newport, PA. It offers three participation options: a timed 5K run, a non timed 5K walk, and a virtual 5K; each covers 3.1 miles. Proceeds benefit the National Brain Tumor Society.
The course uses a variety of terrain, including pavement, gravel and grass. Parking and registration are directed to Swimming Pool Rd. The event is held rain or shine. Raffles and refreshments will be available for participants and spectators. Strollers are permitted though umbrella strollers are not recommended. Pets are allowed when leashed and owners clean up after them.
Registration and fee details vary by option. Live 5K fees are tiered: $20 through January 31, $25 from February 1 through May 13 at noon, and $30 on race day; race day payments accept Venmo, cash or check only. Virtual 5K registration carries a $35 fee that includes a mailed event T shirt; size availability may not be guaranteed for late registrants. A guaranteed T shirt is offered for registrations completed by April 25. Kids age 5 and under participate free of charge; T shirt not included for them.
Awards for the live 5K include overall male and female medals and top three male and female medals in standard age categories. Awarded participants must be present to receive live event medals.
