Joe's Spreading the Sunshine 5K Run/Walk
The 3rd annual Joe's Spreading the Sunshine 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for August 22, 2026 at the Village of Shelby Pavilion in Shelby, Michigan. The event is organized as a community 5K distance along local streets in downtown Shelby.
The event features a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk. Registration opens April 5, 2026 and closes August 21, 2026. The registration fee is $35 and includes a race t-shirt for entries completed by August 7, 2026. There is a limited supply of shirts and sizes available after that cutoff.
Check-in and packet pickup are provided before the race. Proceeds will go to the Shelby Public Schools General Scholarship Fund, managed by the Oceana Community Foundation, to support a student attending a trade school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
