JNF 5K Turkey Trot
The JNF 5K Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day 5K held in Rensselaer, IN at 1144 N Melville Street. The event includes a timed 5 kilometer running race and community-oriented activities on the same day.
Registration is open from October 1, 2026 through November 23, 2026 with a registration fee of $35.00. Participants who register by November 5, 2026 are guaranteed a Turkey T shirt. Registrations after November 5 are not guaranteed a shirt; any extras may be available on race day for participants only.
Registered participants are listed to receive a Turkey T shirt, and awards are given to overall winners and age group finishers. Post race refreshments include snacks and water at the finish area.
All donations and race registration proceeds go to the Jasper Newton Foundation Community Funds. Each dollar donated or given through race registration will be tripled so that one dollar becomes three dollars for the foundation. Those funds support community grants awarded to local nonprofits.
