JMU PASS Charity 5K - Overview
The JMU Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) organizes the 5th Annual JMU PASS Charity 5K on October 24, 2026, at James Madison University East Campus in Harrisonburg, VA. The event benefits Open Doors and the Blue Ridge Free Clinic, two local organizations that provide shelter and healthcare services to community members.
The event offers an on-campus 5K course with the start and finish located directly behind the Festival Conference and Student Center. Entry categories and standard fees listed by the organizer are: Current Student ($30), Non-Student ($35), 17 & Under ($25), and a T-Shirt Only option ($25) for those who cannot attend in person. Registration periods begin August 16 for the T-shirt option and September 5 for the race categories, with registration closing on September 30. Current students must present a valid student ID. Participants aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The T-shirt Only option does not include shipping and relies on a JMU PA student to deliver the shirt.
