JMU PASS Charity 5K
The JMU Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) organizes an annual charity 5K on the East Campus of James Madison University to benefit Open Doors and the Blue Ridge Free Clinic. Open Doors provides year round overnight shelter and daytime drop in services at the Navigation Center. Blue Ridge Free Clinic provides primary health care services to members of the Harrisonburg community.
The event includes multiple entry categories: Current Student (valid student ID required), Non-Student, and 17 & Under (participants 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). T-shirt only options are offered with or without U.S. shipping. Entry fees vary by category.
The course follows a scenic route through East Campus with the start and finish located behind the Festival Conference and Student Center. Parking is available for those without a JMU parking permit. Prizes are awarded to multiple age groups and to first place finishers. Post race snacks and refreshments are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
