JMU 9/11 5K
VA Momentum and JMU Valor organize a 5K on James Madison University East Campus in Harrisonburg to commemorate September 11 and to honor student heroes. The event takes place on campus and uses a scenic route on east campus, with the start and finish located directly behind the Festival Conference and Student Center.
The 5K is chip timed and welcomes walkers and runners of all skill levels from the Harrisonburg community as well as JMU students, faculty and staff. Registration is offered in three categories with specified fees: Current College Student 5K for $15, 17 and under 5K for $15, and Non Student 5K for $30. Registration opens January 5 and closes September 5.
