Event Overview
The JMU 9/11 5K is a commemorative 5 km running event on James Madison University's East Campus in Harrisonburg. It is organized by VA Momentum and JMU Valor to commemorate September 11th and honor student heroes. The event is open to walkers and runners of all skill levels, including Harrisonburg community members and JMU students, faculty, and staff.
Course Details
The race utilizes a scenic route on the university's east campus. The start and finish line is located directly behind the Festival Conference and Student Center. The event features chip timing for all participants.
Registration Categories
Registration is split into three categories:
- Current College Student: 5K ($15)
- 17 and under: 5K ($15)
- Non-Student: 5K ($30)
