JMH 5K/10K
The JMH 5K/10K, presented by Gatorade, takes place on October 17, 2026, in Jacksonville, Illinois, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital (Founders Lane). The event marks the 32nd year of this consecutive running event in Jacksonville.

Both courses are flat, fast, and USA Track and Field certified. Courses start and finish on the east side of the hospital campus. Both races qualify for SRRC Participation Series points.
The first 200 finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards for first, second and third place are presented to males and females in 13 age categories and to the top overall male and female in each race. All paid runners receive a tech shirt and post-race refreshments, and there is a prize drawing. Registrations must be received by noon on October 6 to guarantee a shirt. The registration fee is $32.00 for each race.
Packet pickup options:
- Springfield pickup: October 15, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive.
- Jacksonville pickup: October 16, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Main Lobby at JMH.
- Race day pickup: October 17, 7:00 to 7:50 a.m.
Showers are available at Fitness World Health Club after the race with race number shown at the desk. Headphones are strongly discouraged on the course. Dogs are not allowed on the course or at the start and finish area. Parking is available in nearby hospital lots and the Fitness World north lot. Proceeds benefit Prairieland United Way.
