14th Annual Springfield Marathon and Harvest Wind events
The event takes place on November 7, 2026 at Danenberger Family Vineyards in New Berlin, Illinois. It includes multiple road race distances held at the same venue.
Distances offered:
- Marathon, 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon, 13.1 miles
- 10K
The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying route. The marathon and the Harvest Wind Half Marathon are USATF certified routes.
All distances have top finisher awards. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers overall, and to the top three male and top three female finishers in 5 year age brackets. Finishers must be present to receive awards; awards are handled at the Awards Tent.
Packet pickup is scheduled the evening before from 4 to 7 pm and the morning of the race starting at 7 a.m. The location of packet pickup has not been determined. Race registration opened April 12, 2026 and closes June 8, 2026. Listed registration fees are $65 for the marathon, $55 for the half marathon, and $45 for the 10K. A volunteer registration option is listed with no fee to assist with packet pickup or race day activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
