Springfield Marathon & Harvest Wind Races
The event on November 7, 2026 takes place at Danenberger Family Vineyards in New Berlin, Illinois. It includes a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10K, each organized as separate race distances.
- Marathon : 26.2 Miles, fee $65.00
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles, fee $55.00
- 10K : 10K, fee $45.00
The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying route. The marathon and the Harvest Wind Half Marathon are USATF certified courses.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups. Participants must be present to receive awards; the Awards Tent will confirm whether a finishing time qualifies.
General registration for the main races opens April 12, 2026 and closes June 8, 2026. A private marathon registration option is listed with a separate registration period and a fee of $75.00. A volunteer registration option is also available; volunteer registration details and periods are listed separately.
Packet pickup is scheduled the evening before from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and the morning of the race starting at 7:00 am. The exact location for packet pickup has not been determined. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
