The 4K is run as two laps of a 2K course, so participants complete the 2K twice and cross the finish line twice.
Registration, logistics, awards, and charity
Advance registration for the 4K is priced at $25; the day-of entry fee is $30. The 4K price increases after November 29, 2025. The Little Elf's Dash is free. Registration for the Little Elf's Dash closes on December 14, 2025.
Parking is available in the lot off Pawnee Street adjacent to the Plant Operations building. Indoor space and restrooms are available in the Plant Operations building. Event amenities listed by the organizer include holiday music, a coffee and hot chocolate bar, prize giveaways, and Santa for photo opportunities.
Proceeds support Taylorville Memorial Auxiliary scholarships for continuing education in healthcare fields.
