Jingle Bear Trot

Jingle Bear Trot - Beerbower Park, McCleary

The Jingle Bear Trot is a community fun run held as part of the annual Christmas in McCleary celebrations. The event takes place at Beerbower Park in McCleary, Washington, and accompanies the city’s train lighting celebration that marks the start of the holiday season.

Participants can choose between these distances:

• 1 mile
• 5K (ish)

Packet pickup and on-site registration occur at Beerbower Park. The entry fee is $5 and registration includes a collectible souvenir. The event offers cash prizes of $25 in several categories, including first place for the 1-mile and for the 5K, Best Kid (13 and younger), and Best Big Kid (14 and older).

The atmosphere is festive; runners are invited to wear fun run costumes or bring jingle bells. After the trot there are additional holiday activities at the same event, including a train lighting, free cocoa and cookies, live performances, and the Spodey Fest Christmas Convoy.
