Event

Saturnalia is a Rock Candy Running trail race held in Olympia, Washington on 13 December 2025. The event is a year-end, holiday-themed trail race described as the organization’s season finale. Registration closes on 11 December.

Course and logistics

The race distance is 10K and the start and finish are at the gym and track of Reeves Middle School in Olympia’s Eastside neighborhood. The route winds through the woods of Squaxin Park, uses most of the park’s trails, and includes views of Puget Sound and the Capitol above downtown Olympia. An aid station on course is stocked with holiday treats. The event records participant times but does not use podiums; every finisher receives an award and a medal.
