Jimmie Hale Mission Rescue Run
The event takes place on October 3, 2026 in Homewood, Alabama, with the start and finish located on 29th Avenue South between 18th Street South and 19th Street South. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options as well as a T-shirt-only entry.

- 10K 6.2 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile 1 mile
Pre-race packet pickup is available on dates before race day at Trak Shak, 2839 18th South, and race day packet pickup is at the Old Homewood Police Station parking lot, 1833 29th Ave. South. The 10K is a double loop of the 5K course; organizers describe the 5K and 10K course as flat. The 5K and 10K are chip timed. Registered participants receive a race T-shirt and the first 400 registrants receive a swag bag and T-shirt while supplies last.
Awards are presented for 5K and 10K overall finishers and in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Team registration is available with a team discount applied once the fifth team member is registered; early team members may receive a credit. Participants who fundraise may receive up to a partial refund on the entry fee.
There are no refunds. Transfers must be completed by October 1. Pets on leash and strollers are permitted with safety guidelines. Unregistered participation is not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
