Sundown Rundown Memorial Race
This is a summer nighttime road race held at the Eastside Sports Complex in El Paso, Texas (14380 Montwood). The event date is 07/17/2026 and it is presented as a memorial race sponsored by the family of the honoree to honor his life while benefiting youth in the area. This is the 10th edition of the road race and it will be chip timed.
Distances include:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
Online registration closes at 10:00 PM on 07/16/2026. The regular registration fee is $27. Late registration is available on race day for $32 and accepts cash, credit, or check. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday 07/16/2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 9908 Trinidad; packets may also be picked up at the race.
Awards are given by age division, with large medals for the top three finishers in each division. Age divisions are 10 and under, 11-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61 and over. All participants receive a participation medal. The first 300 registered runners receive dry-fit T-shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
