Event overview
Jeté 5k is a fundraiser run hosted by the USF School of Theatre and Dance at the USF Tampa Campus Arts Complex in Tampa, FL. The event raises funds to support performance and production costs and student travel. Activities on site include a tutu making station, photos with ballet dancers in historic costumes, music, and face painting. All participants receive a t-shirt and a medal, and top runners in each age category receive a special prize. A Kids One Mile Boogie is offered for children 12 and under.
Format and registration
The event offers both an in-person, professionally timed 5k and a virtual option; virtual registrants are sent a race t-shirt and medal. Registration fees listed in the event information are:
- 5 km (in person)
- Virtual 5 km
