12th Annual JBLF 5K & Family Carnival
The 12th Annual JBLF 5K & Family Carnival takes place in Arlington, Virginia on November 21, 2026, at Knights of Columbus, 5115 Little Falls Rd. The event combines a certified 5K road course through the neighborhood with a separate kids' fun run and a family carnival in the adjacent parking area.
The 5K course is certified and accommodates runners and walkers, including stroller use. The kids' fun run is organized in two waves that start once the 5K course clears. After the running activities, the parking lot becomes a carnival area with food, games, rides, moon bounces, laser tag, a mechanical bull, balloon animals, face painting and community performances.
Proceeds from the event support maternal and infant health programs. Funds help economically vulnerable women access prenatal visits, car seats, safe-sleep supplies and related support services. The event is presented by the local foundation and serves as an annual community celebration that highlights the impact of the organization’s work.
