Feed a Veteran 5K - Woodbridge, VA
The Feed a Veteran 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Old Hickory Golf Course in Woodbridge, Virginia. The event includes a 5K road race held on a closed loop using the golf cart paths, plus a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and youth divisions for both distances.
Participants, volunteers, and community partners organize fundraising and collection activities to provide hot meals, winter survival kits, and support for suicide prevention programs serving homeless veterans in the Washington, D.C. area. After the race, attendees will have the opportunity to assemble sandwiches, soup, and winter kits that are delivered to veterans in December by United Sailors and Soldiers of America (USASOA).
Race timing will be managed by a professional timing company. Registrants receive a commemorative bib, a custom poly-cotton race shirt, and a custom finisher medal. Packet pickup is available the day before at a local store and on race morning; registering before October 25 is recommended to guarantee a shirt. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is untimed.
Awards are given by chip time across overall and age-group categories, and free finish-line photos will be posted after the event. Onsite parking is limited and offsite parking with a shuttle will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
