Memorial 5K and 1 Mile at Blue Spruce Park
This memorial running event takes place on 2026-09-26 at Blue Spruce Park, 1128 Blue Spruce Road, Indiana, PA 15701. Proceeds support The Nennie Foundation and its mission to provide financial support to cancer patients navigating treatment.
Distances include:
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 1 Mile in-person
The in-person 5K route includes water stations at the start, the finish, and the halfway point. Post-race snacks are provided for in-person participants. Packet pick-up is available on the morning of the race. Race results are timed by Gingerbread Man.
Awards are given to top finishers in age and gender categories for in-person participants. Race shirts are provided; a shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by 2026-09-01, after which shirts are available while supplies last. Registration opens 2026-06-10. In-person registration closes 2026-07-14. Virtual registration closes 2026-09-25. Published registration fees include $30 for the in-person 5K, $15 for the in-person 1 Mile, $10 for the virtual 5K, and $20 for the virtual 5K with a shirt.
A team option is offered so groups can register together. Virtual participants may run or walk at their own pace and time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
