Run Jekyll is a race weekend on Jekyll Island, Georgia, held January 17-18, 2026. Event distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 21K (half marathon)
- 42K (marathon)
There are also double-race options that pair a Saturday distance with a Sunday distance (for example, 5K/21K and 10K/42K). Courses run past live oaks, salt marshes, beaches, and the Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark. The marathon and half marathon are USATF certified and are Boston qualifying courses; the 10K and 5K will be certified by race day. A seven-hour time limit applies to all events. Race details and policies
Packet pick-up is available at the Jekyll Island Club on the days before and during race weekend, with limited pickup on race morning adjacent to the finish. Registration closes when capacity is reached or on January 15, 2026; race-weekend packet pick-up may offer registration based on available spots. There is no race day registration for the half or full marathon. Minimum ages are 7 for the 10K, and 12 for the half and full marathons; runners under 18 require a parent or guardian signature. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Aid stations will provide water, Gatorade, and HUMA gels. Race packet items include a race number with timing chip, a long-sleeve T-shirt, and a finisher medal for all four events. Bag drop is available at the finish but the organizers are not responsible for lost items. Strollers are allowed in the 5K and 10K (must start at the back); strollers are not allowed in the half or full marathon. Pets are not permitted.
