Event overview
Run Jekyll is a race weekend held on Jekyll Island, Georgia on January 17-18, 2026. The weekend offers multiple timed events and double-race options over two days. Course routes pass historic landmarks on the island and include views of live oaks, salt marshes, and beaches. The marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified and accepted as Boston Qualifiers; the 10K and 5K will be certified by race day.

Packet pick-up is available at the Jekyll Island Club Resort on the days before and during race weekend; bibs must be picked up in person for marathon participants. No race day registration is offered for the half or full marathon. Aid stations will provide water, Gatorade, and HUMA gels. Portable toilets will be placed on course and additional bathrooms are available on the island. A bag drop is provided at the finish; organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Finishers in all events receive a commemorative medal and registered participants receive a long-sleeved T-shirt. RaceJoy is provided for live phone tracking and GPS progress updates.
