Event overview
Run Jekyll is a weekend road race on Jekyll Island, Georgia held January 17-18, 2026. The event offers multiple individual and double-entry options and uses courses that pass historic landmarks, live oak canopies, salt marshes, and beaches. The marathon and half marathon courses are USATF certified and designated as Boston qualifiers; the 10k and 5k will be certified by race day. Finishers in all events receive a commemorative medal. Aid stations will offer water, sports drink, and HUMA gels. There is a seven hour time limit for all events. No virtual option is offered.

Packet pick-up is available at the Jekyll Island Club Resort on the days before and during race weekend, and the resort is adjacent to the finish area. No race-day registration is available for the half marathon or full marathon. To guarantee a race T-shirt, registration should be completed by mid-December. Runners may drop bags at the finish but organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Strollers and baby joggers are allowed in the 5k and 10k (must start at the back) and are not allowed in the half or full marathon. Pets are not allowed on course.
