Jefferson County Humane Society 5K Walk/Run

The event is a 5K walk/run taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Wintersville, Ohio. This is its 10th year. Proceeds go towards helping animals in the community.

This year's event is a GLOW run/walk. Walkers start at 8:00 PM, with runners following at 8:15 PM. Registration opens on the day of the event at 7:30 PM. Packet pickup is available on race day from 7:00 PM until the start. Participants who register by June 6th receive a free T-shirt.

The race course is described as challenging. Participants can bring their dogs. Those unable to attend can sponsor a shelter dog to participate or purchase a $10 luminary in honor or memory of a pet or person; these luminaries will line the finish line.
