Jeepers Creepers Run : overview
The Jeepers Creepers Run is an annual road running event held in Santa Clarita, California; the 2026 edition is the fourth annual running and takes place on October 18, 2026. The event uses a USATF certified course (Cert #CA23032TEB). Start and finish are located at Heritage Park on the Santa Clarita bike path, 24155 Newhall Ranch Rd., Santa Clarita, CA 91355.
Course, distances, services and awards
The course is entirely on a bike path with no auto traffic on the route. Distances offered include:
- Marathon (full)
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All finishers receive a finisher medal, a premium sublimated tech t-shirt, a sublimated windbreaker, and a reusable tote. Post-race food includes a free plate of street tacos for runners; additional plates and family tickets are available for purchase at $8 each. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women in each race, top three in each age group for all distances, and team competition medals.
The event uses cup-less water stations for environmental and safety reasons; reusable cups may be purchased at packet pickup or race check-in. An early-start option is offered for half marathon participants who notify the organizer in advance; those using it should be prepared for limited water access during the early portion of the event.
