Jeepers Creepers Marathon
The Jeepers Creepers Run is an annual road running event in Santa Clarita, held at Heritage Park along the Santa Clarita bike path (24155 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355). The event includes costume prizes with a Halloween theme and a post-race food option of street tacos.
An early start option is offered for half marathon entrants; early starters must notify organizers in advance so their bibs are included in official timing. Early starters should be self-sufficient for water during the first hour and must know the course before using this option. The main course is described as mostly flat with gentle rolling hills, is certified as a Boston qualifier, and will have mile markers and volunteers at major turns and water stations.
Aid and facilities notes: water is provided from cup-less stations, reusable cups are available for purchase at packet pickup or race day check-in, and porta-potties are located along the course approximately every 1.5 miles. The marathon has a generous seven hour time limit.
Packet pickup is the Saturday before the race at 25050 Peachland Ave #105, Santa Clarita, CA 91321; this is the last opportunity to register as there is no race day registration.
