Jeepers Creepers Marathon - Santa Clarita
The Jeepers Creepers Run is offered for the fourth time at Heritage Park in Santa Clarita, CA, with multiple measured road race distances and post race activities. The event includes Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K distances.
The race features a seasonal Halloween theme with prizes for the best spooky costumes. An early start option is available for half marathon entrants; athletes who choose this option must notify organizers in advance so their bib can be included in official timing, should be familiar with the course, and should expect limited water access during the first hour.
The course is mostly flat with some rolling sections and will be marked with mile markers. Organizers state the course is a certified Boston qualifier and that volunteers will staff major turns and water stations. Marathon entrants have a generous seven hour time limit.
Aid and logistics details include porta potties along the course about every 1.5 miles and additional park restrooms at the start area. The event uses cupless water stations for safety and environmental reasons; a reusable cup is available for purchase at packet pickup or race day check in.
