About the race
Jeepers Creepers Run is an annual road running event in Santa Clarita, California. The event uses a USATF certified course, number CA23032TEB, that follows the Santa Clarita bike path and has the start and finish at Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch Road.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is entirely on the bike path with no auto traffic on the route. The route is described as mostly flat with some gentle rolling sections. Aid stations are provided along the course. The marathon has a generous seven hour time limit.
All finishers receive a finisher medal, a premium sublimated shirt, a premium runner hat, and a reusable tote bag. Additional event items include a post race food offering of one free plate of street tacos for runners and the option for guests to purchase food. Awards are given to top finishers including top three overall placements, top three in each age group for each race, and top three teams in the team competition.
There is an early start option for half marathon runners; those who choose it must notify the organizers for official timing and should plan to be self sufficient for fluids during the early portion because not all aid stations will be available.
