About the race
Jeepers Creepers Marathon is the fifth annual running event held in Santa Clarita on Sunday, October 17, 2027. The event uses the Santa Clarita bike path and starts at Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch RD, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. The course is closed to auto traffic and is described as mostly flat with some rolling sections. The event offers measured race distances and marks the course for official timing; it is listed as a certified Boston qualifier course.
The marathon has a generous seven hour time limit. Aid stations are provided along the route and porta potties are placed on course and at the park. Water stations operate without disposable cups; runners can buy a reusable cup for a small fee at packet pickup or race day check in. Packet pickup is scheduled the Saturday before the race from 10:00 to 14:00 at a chiropractor office on Peachland Avenue in Santa Clarita, with additional pickup available at the starting line on race day.
There is no race day registration. Race amenities include a custom finisher medal, event day dry-fit shirt, and a reusable goody bag.
