Event Details
The JE Dunn Hammer Down is a running event scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. It is the 12th annual edition and is presented by JE Dunn Construction. The event takes place at 1316 Adams St. in Nashville, Tennessee. Participants can choose from three distances:
- A 5K race
- A 10K race
- A 1 Mile Walk/Stroller Stride
The 1 Mile Walk/Stroller Stride starts after the 5K and 10K races begin.
Beneficiary and Fundraising
The event benefits Our Kids, an organization that provides medical evaluations and crisis counseling for children affected by sexual abuse. The organization also works on community awareness, research, and education regarding child maltreatment.
A peer-to-peer fundraising option allows participants to raise a minimum of $100 for Our Kids. If this goal is met, the event will refund 100% of the participant's entry fee. Donations can also be made directly to the beneficiary without participating in the races.
Separate course maps are available for the 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile routes. The 1 Mile course is noted as being slightly less than one mile in actual distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
