JE Dunn Hammer Down
The JE Dunn Hammer Down returns to Nashville for its 12th annual edition. This community event features multiple distances and serves as a fundraiser for Our Kids, an organization providing medical and counseling services for child sexual abuse. The event is hosted at 1316 Adams St. in the Germantown area.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 Mile Walk/Stroller Stride
The courses for the 5 km and 10 km races are mapped separately, while the 1 Mile route is designed for walkers and those with strollers. The actual distance for the walk is slightly less than one mile.
The event incorporates a peer-to-peer fundraising model. Participants who raise a minimum specified amount for the beneficiary are eligible to have their entry fee refunded. Direct donations to the charitable organization are also accepted through the event platform for those not participating in the races.
