JCBC Jaunt 5k & 1Mile Fun Run
This is an annual community running event held at Cauley Creek Park in Johns Creek, Georgia. The event features two distances:
- 5k - 3.1 miles
- 1Mile Fun Run - 1 mile
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, a 501(c)(3) organization. Funds will support experiences for school children and adaptive efforts such as sensory-appropriate performances and partnerships with physically challenged persons.
Registration details differ by event. 5k registration includes a JCBC Jaunt T-shirt and a swag bag. There is no registration fee for the 1Mile Fun Run; Fun Run participants may purchase a T-shirt. The T-shirt cutoff date is October 3; registrants after that date can ask about T-shirt availability at check-in. Check-in and walk-up registration begin at the event staging area, where bibs and T-shirts are distributed.
The event includes an Awards Ceremony with overall and age-group awards for male and female finishers across a range of age categories. 5k registrants are entered into a raffle. Event staging, parking, and toilets are located near the sports fields; additional parking is a short walk from the staging area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
