JB Pearl Harbor Hickam - CMSAF Binnicker Memorial Run
The event is a 9K run held on October 3, 2026, at Hickam Beach on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. The course is a flat, fast out-and-back route along the Mamala Bay Drive trail that leads out to the historic "Missing Man" route and returns to Hickam Beach. The run is organized by AFSA Chapter 1550 and takes place at Cabana 1 in Honolulu, HI.
The event benefits the memory care wing at the Air Force Enlisted Village’s assisted living residence, Hawthorn House. Funds raised will support care and services for military widows, retirees, veterans, and family members with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia who live there. Participants can create fundraisers as part of the Extra Mile Challenge; top fundraisers receive recognition and those who raise $109 may have their registration fees refunded up to the registration cost. The first 25 registrants will receive an official race shirt and a challenge coin. Registration carries a fee of $30 and is open for a defined period before the event.
