Jazmine T. Bryant Brighter Day 5k Run/Walk

The 5k is an accurately measured loop through Washington Lake Park, a 330-acre municipal park. The 5k uses chip timing; the 1 mile walk is not timed. The race start and finish are near the Amphitheater. Parking is available in Lot E, which is closest to the Amphitheater.
Prizes include a $50 cash award for first place overall male and female. Age-group awards are given to the top male and female in these groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Overall winners are based on gun time; age groups are based on chip time.
Online registration prices are $25 until January 31, 2026; $30 from February 1, 2026 to March 17, 2026; and $35 from March 18, 2026 to the evening before the event. Day-of registration is listed at $40. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
