Jayhawk Triathlon
The Jayhawk Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held on October 11, 2026, at Lone Star Lake in Lawrence, Kansas. The event is organized by the University of Kansas Triathlon Club and takes place at the address 665 E 665 Rd, Lawrence, KS 66047, United States.
Distances for the main sprint race:
- 750 meter swim in the lake
- 12.4 mile looped bike course, hilly
- 5k out and back run
There is a team relay option in which three participants each complete one of the three disciplines and then tag a team member to start the next segment. A swim-run option is also offered; that event consists of the 750 meter swim followed by the 5k run, using the same swim and run distances as the sprint race.
