Jaycees January Jog 5K and 10K : Event overview
The Jaycees January Jog takes place on January 3, 2026 in Watkinsville, GA at The Yard @ Wire Park, 111 S. Barnett Shoals Road. The event includes the following distances:

- 10K Run
All proceeds support the Athens Jaycees, who participate in local nonprofits. The Jaycees organization states its mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. Finishline management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services. The event is part of the Black Bag Race Series.
Course, registration and awards
Both races start and finish at Wire Park. The 5K runs through Morgan Manor and returns to Wire Park. The 10K goes through Morgan Manor, proceeds to Rocket Field for a loop, returns to Morgan Manor, then finishes at Wire Park. Registration features single-race and combo pricing, with a no-shirt pricing option; registration closes December 31, 2025. South Main Brewery will offer one free brew to runners wearing a bib. Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and male and female age groups in 10-year brackets from 10 and Under through 80 and Over.
