Event information

The JaxPAL 5K takes place at Ed Austin Park, 3450 Monument Road, Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, January 24, 2026. The event includes a 5K race and a one-mile race. Both races are run entirely inside Ed Austin Park on the recreation path. Parking is available inside the park.

Packets will be available at 1st Place Sports Baymeadows on Friday, January 23. Unclaimed packets will be available at Ed Austin Park on race morning. Race day registration is allowed, though requested shirt sizes may not be available for those who register that day. Course maps are provided for both distances.

Awards and fees

Cotton blend shirts are provided to all entrants. Medals are awarded to all registered finishers. Overall awards are given to top male and female finishers, and age-group awards are given three deep in 10-year male and female categories from 10 and under through 80. Registration fees vary by date; listed ranges in the event information show the 5K from about $34.09 to $44.79, and the one-mile from about $12.69 to $23.39.
